Transfer of Pokémon from Leaf Green and Fire Red to Modern Games is Confirmed by Home Support

The Pokémon Company has unveiled an important feature for the upcoming Nintendo Online versions of Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen. Players will be able to transfer Pokémon captured in these classic games to newer titles using Pokémon Home.

This announcement has been a significant point of interest for fans who were eager to know if the classic Pokémon from these remakes could be shared with more recent games. The ability to transfer Pokémon has become a crucial aspect of gameplay connectivity in modern series installments. Without this feature, the re-releases of these beloved games would feel somewhat incomplete.

Although news of the Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen re-release has circulated for some time and it has quickly risen on the Nintendo Switch sales charts, details about this transfer capability remained undisclosed on the game’s eShop listing.

Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen are available for purchase today for £16.99 or the equivalent price in other regions.
