Bethesda hints at upcoming Starfield news set for “next week

Bethesda has hinted that fans can anticipate new details about Starfield “next week.”

As the media began discussing the topic, composer Inon Zur, a long-time collaborator with Bethesda, praised Todd Howard, the studio’s head, calling him a “visionary.” Zur also mentioned that he believes many players may not have been fully prepared for this year’s controversial space adventure. In response, the official Bethesda Twitter account engaged in a conversation online, indicating that more information about Starfield will be released soon.

In a post addressing a comment from PC Gamer, Bethesda shared, “We checked in with Todd, and he joked that his true visionary talent lies in observing running lanes in EA College Football 26. He values all the passionate feedback on Starfield and promises more news next week.”

This approach to sharing information is somewhat unconventional for publishers but aligns with speculation that the PS5 release date for Starfield is set for April 7th, with pre-orders available starting March 18th.

Previously, we noted that “Starfield combines an immense scope with Bethesda’s signature expertise in systemic physics, engaging side quests, and quirky story elements.” However, we also pointed out that in prioritizing scale over direct exploration, the game lacks a cohesive connection between its various elements. Stay tuned for updates.
