Starlight Re:Volver a new indie game scheduled for release in 2025. A trailer recently released to showcase the game’s impressive aesthetics and gameplay. Although the exact release date has not yet announced, players can register on the game’s Steam page to take part in early access testing.

Starlight Re:Volver

This is a co-operative action game for four players who can choose one of four different characters with different weapons. The goal of the game is to explore and conquer the complex landscapes of So Mi’s dreams. In between matches, players can socialise in the NIM social centre, where they can interact with other players and take part in activities such as stargazing, fishing, and crafting.

The combat gameplay in Re:Volver is dynamic and offers a variety of play styles, with powerful and explosive attacks. The game features elements such as Twilight Crystals, which can change the terrain and provide advantages in battles, as well as Enchantments, which can change the abilities of characters.

Animation, OST, access

The trailer for Starlight Re:Volver demonstrates impressive animation and world aesthetics with smooth transitions between 2D and 3D elements. The game’s style provides a bright and colourful aesthetic influenced by studios such as Studio Trigger (known for titles such as Kill La Kill, Dungeon Meshi, Panty & Stocking) and Orange (Land of the Lustrous, Beastars, Trigun: Stampede).

The Steam page promises a signature electric city OST for anime fans. The game will go through an early access phase that will last approximately 1-2 years, during which one district, four characters, and three streams of combat zones will be available. Additional content will added over time, including Diver characters.

Starlight Re:Volver is developed by Pahdo Labs, a North American studio that has received venture capital. Its goal is to create a fantasy anime world where players can feel a sense of belonging, learn new skills and develop their imagination.
