The world of Tamriel in The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) is once again immersed in a mystical atmosphere with the return of the popular event – the Witcher’s Festival. From 24 October to 6 November, players will be able to enjoy the eerie theme, double XP, and exclusive rewards.

How to take part in the Witch Festival

To join the event, you will need to complete The Witchmother’s Bargain quest. Upon successful completion, players will receive a Witchmother whistle. It not only allows you to summon additional bonuses but also turns your character into a skeleton thanks to a special polymorphic form. Although the whistle is no longer required to activate bonus experiences, it adds to the atmosphere and helps in further adventures.

Double XP and spooky loot

During the festival, players receive double XP, which allows them to level up their characters faster. Additionally, you will receive Plunder Skull containers for defeating bosses. These containers can contain various items. These include Hollowjack or Dremora styles, festival recipes, and even ‘gruesome’ materials such as worms, intestines, or insect parts.

Defeating unique bosses will bring an even more valuable container – the Dremora Plunder Skull, which can contain new or returned items, such as:

  • Plunder Skull Blunder Memento Runebox.
  • Fragment of a pet – Senchal Horned Owl.
  • Style page for Eltheric Revenant.
  • More opportunities for loot.

Plunder Skulls are not limited to the world of Tamriel – you can get them for defeating bosses in public dungeons, arenas, world battles, or in new locations such as Tho’at Replicanum in Infinite Archive.

Exclusive challenges

The ZeniMax Online Studios development team has also added two new challenges: the destruction of Crowborne Horror and the battle with Lord Hollowjack himself. For completing these challenges, players will receive unique containers and items that cannot be found anywhere else.

The Impresario returns to the event, where you can exchange festival tickets for exclusive rewards. This time, you can also get the first fragments for the 2024 Harbour of Five Satellites collection house.
