New Nothing Ear headphones have AI function: what it means
Consumer technology company Nothing Technology Limited has announced an update to its Nothing Ear headphones line. From now on, it will be possible to access artificial intelligence functions using voice commands.
The London-based company was able to integrate ChatGPT technology into its devices. If users have this chatbot installed on their smartphones, they will be able to ask questions to generative artificial intelligence. To do so, they simply press the headphone stem. Previously, users had access to Siri/Google Assistant/Alexa, and from now on, they will have direct access to the popular OpenAI platform.
The company also noted that it will soon improve the Nothing operating system in smartphones. It is planned to build in access points to the ChatGPT chatbot, which will open up the possibility of sending screenshots to the chat.
The function of accessing artificial intelligence via voice command will be available only with Nothing Ear headphones. The company did not say anything about whether they will transmit sound better, but assured that the battery life is 25% longer.
The cost of these headphones will be $149. Pre-orders are already open, and the new product will be delivered on 22 April.
