The Chinese action game Phantom Blade Zero has quickly gained over a million wishlists following the announcement of its release date in September 2026.

The development team expressed their gratitude for the “fantastic support” and extended their wishes for a joyful new year to the gaming community.

Developer S-GAME took to social media on Tuesday to share the exciting news, stating, “We have reached over 1 million wishlists for #PhantomBladeZero in just 15 days since our announcement on December 12.”

“Thank you all for the fantastic support. We wish everyone a Happy New Year!”

The release date has been highly anticipated. The game was initially introduced during a Sony showcase in 2023, with updates gradually trickling in, including a new trailer titled Year of the Snake presented at the beginning of this year.

As for gameplay, the title was showcased at Gamescom in 2024, where it was praised for its rapid and dynamic combat mechanics, emphasizing that it is definitely not a Soulslike experience.
