The Ukrainian esports organization NAVI has officially announced a change in its ownership. The news came from their official website, Born to Win, stating that Maksym Krippa acquired the majority stake back in 2018.

The club’s founder, Oleksandr Kokhanovskyi, had decided to sell NAVI to facilitate necessary investments that would elevate the club to new heights. By the end of 2018, Maksym Krippa, a Ukrainian businessman and venture capitalist with interests in IT, game development, and real estate, had stepped in as the majority owner.

However, NAVI clarified in its announcement that the ownership transfer was only finalized in the summer of 2022, explaining the delay in the official announcement. The protracted deal was due to certain conditions that had to be met by the new owner over time.

NAVI, established in 2009, has grown into one of the world’s most successful and beloved esports organizations, clinching numerous major championships and hosting teams across nearly all major esports disciplines.
