In May, PUBG players will be able to enjoy the Erangel Classic event, which will return the game’s visuals to their original format.

The Erangel Classic event will take players back to the days when developer Krafton Inc. first released the game. And this applies not only to the visual content. The features of the first version of the game will also return. For example, it will be possible to run as fast as possible to collect your favourite weapon before the opposition does.

The developers say that they have returned to where they started, but added a few modern tweaks. However, in general, Erangel Classic conveys the atmosphere of the very first version of the game.

The event will last from 14 to 28 May and will be available for players on PC. Those who play on consoles will have to wait until 23 May. For them, the event will end on 6 June. On 13 May, the developer’s website will already have an extended list of changes that will be made to Erangel Classic.

PlayersUnknown Battlegrounds was released in early access in 2017. This game started a trend and opened a whole era of Battle Royale games.
