Corsair, a renowned manufacturer of computer components and accessories, has announced its intention to acquire Endor AG, the owner of the well-known brand Fanatec. This deal is part of Corsair’s strategy to expand its product portfolio in the high-quality gaming market segment.
Corsair already boasts such well-known brands as Origin, Elgato, Scuf, and Drop, and now adds Fanatec, a leading manufacturer of specialized racing simulator equipment, to its roster. The agreement involves collaboration with Endor in financial planning, including the restructuring of debts totaling approximately €70 million.
Fanatec is renowned for its high-quality racing wheels, pedals, and cabins for racing simulators, which make gameplay even more realistic. This acquisition underscores Corsair’s growing interest in premium gaming products and demonstrates their willingness to invest in high-quality equipment for gamers.
