In the Polish segment of Steam, a wave of outrage unfolded due to the inflated price of the mythological roguelike-action game Hades II. Gamers and local media actively protested against this phenomenon, and their efforts did not go in vain. The American studio Supergiant Games responded to the Polish protests by lowering the game’s price, sparking excitement among gamers.

The initial price of Hades II in Poland was 139 zlotys, which was one of the highest in the world. However, after the community’s action, the price was reduced to 117 zlotys, bringing it closer to the US price. Additionally, developers refunded the price difference to the first buyers.

Polish gamers reacted to this move with great gratitude, ready to purchase the game even during early access. The release of Hades II was successful, garnering high ratings from players and surpassing records set by the previous installment. This success even led to the postponement of the release of another game – The Rogue Prince of Persia.
