Mega Crit has introduced three new plush toys inspired by Slay the Spire 2, and I couldn’t resist ordering two of them.

These Slay the Spire 2 plushies are being offered through a crowdfunding platform called Makeship and will only be available until April 3rd. The collection features iconic characters from the series: the Ironclad, Silent, and Defect. Each plushie is priced at $30, with an additional shipping fee of around $20 for delivery to the UK. However, there’s a possibility of incurring customs fees upon their arrival, making this quite the impulsive purchase.

The excitement surrounding Slay the Spire 2 is palpable, as it has been the fourth most popular game on Steam for several days, even briefly reaching third place, with concurrent player counts soaring to an impressive 570,000. Mega Crit even playfully called out Bungie over the weekend, noting that Slay the Spire 2 surpassed Marathon in popularity.

This success is remarkable for a deck-building roguelike, and the introduction of multiplayer in Slay the Spire 2 has likely contributed significantly to its player base. Additionally, the game features two new playable classes—the Necrobinder and Regent—each offering unique decks and gameplay mechanics (I’m particularly fond of Doom). There’s a wealth of new events to engage with, leading players to make choices that they might later reconsider. The sequel also boasts considerable improvements in its presentation.
