After departing from Rocksteady Studios in 2022, co-founders Sefton Hill and Jamie Walker established a new studio – Hundred Star Games. According to verified insider eXtas1s, the company is actively working on its debut project – a single-player adventure AAA action game powered by Unreal Engine 5.

As per eXtas1s, the development funding is provided by Microsoft, which has entered a partnership with Xbox Game Studios. The insider also pointed out the possibility that the game will be an exclusive for the Xbox platform, as well as releasing on PC. However, the future regarding the game’s exclusivity remains uncertain, considering Xbox’s strategy in this regard.

Regarding Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, released in February 2024, the game failed to meet expectations and was recognized as a failure with a loss of $200 million. Meanwhile, Hundred Star Games continues to assemble a team for its project, planning to attract both industry veterans and young talents.
