During the May State of Play presentation, Santa Monica Studio announced the PC release of their successful Scandinavian action game God of War Ragnarok. The game, which garnered immense popularity among PlayStation owners, will arrive on Steam and the Epic Game Store on September 19th of this year. This announcement was accompanied by an exciting gameplay trailer showcasing the main features of the port.
PC gamers will have the opportunity to purchase God of War Ragnarok for $60 for the standard edition or $70 for the deluxe edition, which includes early access to in-game items, a mini artbook, and a soundtrack.
It is expected that the PC version will support technologies such as Nvidia DLSS 3.7, AMD FSR 3.1, Intel XeSS 3.1, ultrawide monitors (21:9, 32:9), and 4K resolution, as well as have an unlocked frame rate. The PC version includes the Valhalla story expansion and the “New Game+” mode.
God of War Ragnarok has been widely acclaimed by critics, receiving a 94% on Metacritic and selling over 15 million copies since its debut on November 9, 2022, on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Jetpack Interactive studio is collaborating with the development team to bring the game to PC.
