Yesterday, announced the creation of a board game based on Valheim. Preparations are currently underway for a crowdfunding campaign that will begin this autumn.

Valheim is a game with many components. There are places to build, gather resources, various biomes, etc. The developers of the upcoming board game report that they plan to cover different parts of this gaming experience. According to the announcement, the board game will designed for a maximum of four players. As in the video version of the game, the participants will be Vikings. The team also announced that they will create original player figures, a Viking house, ships, and other things that will help to immerse players in the game world.

Walheim will be adapted as a board game by MOOD Publishing. Iron Gate Studio and Coffee Stain Publishing will also join the process. The design will be created by Ole Steines, a Valheim fan and the artist who previously adapted the Deep Rock Galactic dwarf game into a board game.

The first version of the game will include four biomes: Black Forest, Meadows, Mountains, and Swamps. The player will start the game in a simple house and will have no resources. He will need to collect as many resources as possible during the game and build his base.
