World of Tanks Blitz is celebrating its 10th anniversary. In this regard, players will receive nice gifts, new missions, tanks, and free containers. The developer Wargaming announced in a press release the months of festive events and gave some details.

Blitz was first released as a game for mobile devices. It had eight maps and three nations. But in a few years, it turned into a successful AAA cross-play game available on several platforms. It currently has 30 maps and more than 500 tanks. It is played by more than 180 million users worldwide, and over the years, it has brought the company more than $1 million in revenue.

Upcoming events

The seasonal celebration has already begun. In June, players will be able to purchase a new level VIII tank and some other level X tanks. If you manage to get a free container by 30 June, you can drop a Blasteroid tank, a new avatar, and a profile background from it.

The Rewind event will last until 28 June. It is focused on capturing memories. Players need to complete missions on level IV-X vehicles and earn snapshots. Every 1000 pictures unlocks another level of the event.

A space-themed event will start in July. The Sheridan Missile event and the Sheridan Missile tank will be waiting for players. The developers have not yet provided details, but they hint at cooperation with the franchise of popular science fiction films.

In August, the 10-day Crazy Games event will return, where you can get a reward for years of service and special gifts for the 10th anniversary.
