Ubisoft has released a trailer for the 20th anniversary remake of Beyond Good and Evil. Nothing is known about the price yet, but players can expect the updated game for PlayStation 5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Switch, and PC on 25 June. The physical copy will be released later, namely on 12 July. According to the latest information from the developer, the game will receive new in-game content.

Ubisoft announced that the company was working on a remake of 2003’s Beyond Good and Evil back in November last year. Moreover, it happened by accident. Due to a technical error, some Ubisoft+ subscribers were accidentally given access to an early version of the game.

The new Beyond Good and Evil will receive many improvements. The game will support 4K at 60 frames per second, and will have auto-save and cross-save features. The original adventure will now have new ways to find treasures, a speed run mode, and 20 new achievements. The story of reporter Jade and her friend Pey’ja, who are investigating a terrifying government conspiracy, will become deeper. Players will be able to learn more about Jade’s past.
