What PS5 games will be available in 2025: Sony reveals release trailer
Upcoming PS5 games: New PS5 games for 2025
Sony Interactive Entertainment has unveiled a trailer showing the expected lineup of PlayStation 5 games for 2025. Fans saw several high-profile games, but the absence of the most anticipated titles, such as GTA VI, caused discussions among the gaming community.
The trailer showed 16 games that will be released on PS5 during 2025, including two exclusives for the console, Channel 24 reports. However, fans quickly noticed the absence of several major releases, which drew criticism and fueled speculation about potential delays or undisclosed plans.

The trailer showcases a variety of genres and gameplay options, from open-world action-adventure to strategy games. Here is the list of games presented, in order of appearance:

Viewers immediately noticed several important points that were missing from the trailer. Among them was Rockstar’s long-awaited Grand Theft Auto VI, which is expected to be one of the biggest releases of 2025. The confirmed launch date of the game – fall 2025 – gave fans hope that it would appear in Sony’s promotional materials, but it was not noticeably absent.
Other missing games include Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, which has a confirmed release date of February 2, 2025, and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, which is expected to launch in the spring.
Fans also noted the absence of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, a remake of the classic MGS3. In Sony’s previous trailer from 11 months ago, the MGS3 remake was scheduled for 2024, but its absence has sparked speculation about a possible delay.
