The youth roster of NAVI has secured a coveted spot in the main stage of The International 2025 by clinching a decisive victory over OG in the final match of the Western Europe qualifiers. This triumph marks the most significant accomplishment for the team since its inception.
To reach this milestone, NAVI Junior advanced through the open qualifiers and maintained consistent performance in the upper bracket of the closed stage. In the playoffs, they delivered a flawless run, defeating Yellow Submarine, Nigma Galaxy, and Team 1win without dropping a single series.
The International 2025 will be held from September 4 to 14 in Hamburg, Germany. A total of 16 teams from around the globe will compete for a prize pool currently exceeding $1,600,000.
Organized annually by Valve in partnership with PGL, The International (TI) is the premier world championship for Dota 2. Since its debut in 2011, the tournament has become the most prestigious and iconic event in the game’s competitive calendar.
Double Tournament Debut for NAVI Junior
For NAVI Junior, this will be their first appearance at the most important Dota 2 tournament of the year — a career-defining moment for the young talents. It’s also the first time in six years that representatives of the Ukrainian esports organization Natus Vincere will feature at TI. The main NAVI squad last competed at the event in 2019.
In the Western Europe qualifier grand final held on June 16, NAVI Junior defeated OG 2-1. Their victory in the upper bracket final had already secured them a direct ticket to the championship.
It’s also worth noting that NAVI Junior recently qualified for another major tournament — the Dota 2 segment of the Esports World Cup 2025, set to run from July 8 to 19.
This success further strengthens NAVI Junior’s presence on the international stage. Their participation in the Esports World Cup offers a vital opportunity to test their skills against elite teams ahead of The International.
NAVI Junior operates under the umbrella of Ukrainian esports organization Natus Vincere, which is owned by businessman Maksym Krippa. Krippa became an investor in the team in 2018 and assumed full beneficial ownership in the second half of 2022.
