An updated demo for Hell is Us has been relaunched for PC and is now available for the first time on Xbox and PlayStation 5. It’s crucial to act fast, as this demo will only be accessible until August 28th.

This enhanced demo for the forthcoming action-adventure title features a variety of new elements, quality-of-life updates, and gameplay adjustments, providing a closer look at what players can expect from the full game releasing in September.

Key updates in the Hell is Us demo:

New Camera Features

• Option to toggle camera follow on or off.
• Improvements to movement and rotation lag for better control.

Revamped Inventory System

• Introduction of Favorites and Archives tabs for easier item management.

New Difficulty Selection Screen

• Enhanced interface for selecting your desired difficulty level.

Performance Enhancements

• Graphical upgrades, including the ability to play in 4K at 60 FPS, among other improvements.

Photo Mode Implementation

• Now you can capture breathtaking in-game moments instantly.

Expanded Language Options

• French voice acting has been added.
• Text support for Chinese and Japanese languages is now available.

Combat Adjustments

• You can now parry only specific attacks.
• Visual indicators for parryable attacks have been included.
• A comprehensive tutorial for parrying is now part of the demo.
• The riposte camera sequence will play once for every 5 to 10 successful ripostes.

Targeting System Improvements

• Up and down targeting switch when enemies overlap in the center of the screen has been added.
• Smoother camera transitions have been implemented.

Additional Notes

• The datapad’s boot screen will only display the first time you access it.
• A series of bug fixes have been applied.
• Various optimizations have been undertaken to enhance overall performance.

The Hell is Us demo is now available for download on Steam for PC, as well as through the Xbox Store and PlayStation Network. The full version of Hell is Us is set to be released on September 4.
