Honkai Nexus Anima uncovered, a creature collecting spin-off from the Genshin Impact developers

Honkai Nexus Anima has officially been announced as a creature-collection adventure game, where players assemble a team of adorable creatures to participate in auto-battling combat. Those interested can now register for the closed beta test.

Developed by the same studio behind popular titles like Honkai Star Rail and Genshin Impact, Honkai Nexus Anima marks a notable shift in genre for this gacha game developer. While there have been hints about its development for some time, today marks its first official reveal.

Outside the battlegrounds, players can explore in a third-person perspective, allowing them to roam with their cute companions, complete various side quests, and enjoy a variety of mini-games. A short gameplay trailer has also been premiered for fans to check out.

Enthusiasts can sign up for the closed beta on the official website, with the recruitment period open until September 12th. In celebration of the announcement, the new Honkai Nexus Anima account is hosting a giveaway where social media users can win access to the beta test, as well as cash prizes and exclusive merchandise.

Currently, there’s no set date for when the game will transition out of beta. However, both Zenless Zone Zero and Honkai Star Rail had swift releases following their respective testing phases. Therefore, even if you don’t secure a spot in the beta, be sure to stay tuned for more updates on Honkai Nexus Anima.
