Battlefield 6 unveils its Season One trailer featuring new weapons, maps, and a tactical gameplay mode
Battlefield Studios and EA have unveiled a trailer announcing the debut season of post-launch content for Battlefield 6, highlighting the expansive Blackwell Fields map and a brand-new game mode.
Blackwell Fields is an extensive map located at an air base in California, designed for large-scale game modes featuring air and land vehicles. The terrain is dotted with oil wells, and much of the landscape will be engulfed in flames, promising an exhilarating experience for players during online matches.
Season One will introduce a new mode called Strikepoint, featuring 4v4 gameplay where each participant has only one life per round. Along with this, players can expect new vehicles and weaponry with the update, including an APC, the SQR-300 Carbine, the Mini Fix sniper rifle, and the GGH-22 pistol. Additionally, two new attachments – the LPVO sight and the Rail Cover – will also be added to the game.
Season One is set to launch on October 28, divided into three stages, with the first stage named “Rogue Ops,” kicking off next Tuesday. The initial stage will feature all the enhancements mentioned above, while additional maps, modes, and other elements are expected to arrive as soon as November.
This update marks the first significant addition to Battlefield 6, following numerous smaller patches and balance corrections. The game has achieved remarkable success, selling over seven million copies within its first week and rapidly setting new franchise records.
