Cooperative indie favorite RV There Yet surpasses 1.3 million in sales

The indie game RV There Yet, developed by Nuggets Entertainment, has achieved remarkable success, surpassing 1.3 million sales.

This co-op adventure game launched on October 21 and quickly caught the attention of gamers who enjoy playing with friends, leading to a rapid increase in concurrent players. The number of players continued to grow throughout the past week, ultimately peaking at an impressive 100,002 fans of the road trip experience.

The developers celebrated reaching the 1 million sales mark with a social media post featuring a drawing made in MS Paint on October 25. By the following day, community manager Jace Varlet shared in a video on Nuggets Entertainment’s YouTube channel that sales had climbed to 1,288,515.

This video also addressed several bugs and the absence of certain features, which are a result of the game’s origins from a game jam. Upcoming updates include key binding options, additional localization support, new achievements, and better controller compatibility.

If the backstory of this successful co-op indie title rings a bell, it’s reminiscent of the game Peak, which also emerged from a game jam. RV There Yet is part of a growing trend of engaging indie projects brought to life by small but dedicated teams. Notable mentions in this category are R.E.P.O, Content Warning, and Lethal Company.

In conclusion, Varlet hinted at the possibility of more content being added in the future for RV There Yet, while Nuggets Entertainment is also developing a whimsical first-person farming game titled Among The Wild.
