First information about Twilight
For the first time, the development of a similar title for the Twilight franchise announced back in April 2023. At that time, The Hollywood Reporter reported that Lionsgate interested in extending the franchise. The rumours about the sequel disappeared and only in March this year it reported that Lionsgate sees the sequel as an animated film.
The original Twilight film, based on Stephenie Meyer’s novels, captivated audiences in the mid-2000s and became a cultural phenomenon. The film adaptation of the franchise, starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, ended in 2012, leaving fans eagerly awaiting the sequel. The launch of an animated show based on the franchise expected to renew interest among fans.
