Fans of the Harry Potter franchise informed that casting is currently underway for the upcoming adaptation of the series about the boy wizard from HBO. It also noted that filming will begin in April 2025 and will take place in the UK during 2025 and 2026.

What known about the casting

This announcement coincides with previous news from Warner Bros. Discovery that the show will released sometime in 2026. Children aged 9 to 11 invited to apply for the audition, and the deadline is 31 October 2024. Applicants must be residents of the UK or Ireland. They must submit a video of themselves reading a story or poem, but producers ask that they avoid works from the Harry Potter series.

Therefore, it encourages performers to apply for auditions regardless of ethnicity, gender, disability, race, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other characteristic.
