Final Fantasy XIV to showcase new Dawntrail gameplay live
Next week, Final Fantasy XIV will host a livestream to showcase the new Dawntrail content. In particular, the gameplay will be demonstrated live. This was announced by the development team, once again fixing the game’s stability after DDoS attacks.
As the Dawntrail expansion will be released on 2 July, it will be preceded by several releases. A live stream with the new gameplay will take place on 14 June at 4am Pacific Daylight Saving Time. It will be broadcast in the original Japanese language.
Those who want to know what is being said will have to wait 10 days until the stream is available on the official Final Fantasy XIV Twitch or YouTube channels. There, you will be able to watch it with English translation or subtitles. Currently, users know absolutely nothing about this update, except for the fact that it is intended to expand the game world and plot.
Currently, Square Enix is increasingly suffering from DDoS attacks that affect the operation of servers. Another update was released last Friday, but many players could not log in due to the disruption. Dawntrail is a much bigger expansion than the previous ones, and it is likely that the servers will suffer from DDoS attacks again after it is launched. However, the developers have already learnt how to mitigate system failures much faster.
