On 9 June, Xbox Showcase was held. At this event, the developer GSC Game World presented a new trailer for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl. The video is promisingly titled “Time of Opportunity“.

The video shows a variety of locations, new mutants and interesting natural anomalies. A stalker camp and game footage were also shown. It is interesting that the episodes of the fights are intertwined with narrative elements. Skif asks Richter what all this is for, so many deaths and losses. To which Richter replies that everyone sees the Zone in their own way, and it’s worth going their own way.

Fans of the game were very enthusiastic about the new trailer. They noted that the game world looks very detailed. As expected for an abandoned city, there is garbage everywhere, shabby walls, and puddles appear after the rain. The players also noticed that the stalkers’ base has a radio, which can be used to get the news. The way players are informed about their health status has also changed. Now, health and ammo stats appear on the screen only when you are shooting. These and other changes were positively received by the gaming community, and now players are even more eagerly awaiting the game’s release.
