The latest season of Marvel Snap, Season of Amazing Spiders, brings exciting surprises with the addition of new characters. The game will feature such characters as Symbiote Spider-Man, Madame Spider-Woman, Silver Sable, Arana, and Crimson Spider.

This season, developer Second Dinner Studios will add the first new ability to the game since its launch – Activation. This mechanic allows players to manually trigger certain card effects after they are drawn, offering more strategic control over the game. Players can add a new level of strategy to their opponents and create new deck combinations that were not possible before.

All new characters have the ‘Activate’ function, which gives them the following abilities:

• The Spider-Man symbiont can merge with the cheapest card at its location and copy its abilities.
• The Crimson Spider can clone itself in another location.
• Madame Web allows players to activate cards several times per game.
• Arana allows the next card to add +2 to its power and moves it to the right.

In addition to the new characters, two new locations are added to the season: The Brooklyn Bridge, where you can’t play cards two turns in a row, and Otto’s Lab, which makes your next card pull an opponent’s card to your side. New cards will be released weekly throughout September.
