Tower of Fantasy 4.3 will release the Ethereal Rose update on 19 September. The new content developed by Hotta Studio and published by Level Infinite, the international arm of Tencent Games.

What to expect from Ethereal Rose

The update will add a new simulator and a new mode of transport – bicycles. Players will be able to rent a bike for 50 nOK per ride at a bike station and ride with friends in the Gesthos network.

Previous updates have included collaborations with well-known brands such as Evangelion and expanded the game’s story and areas to explore. More information about the update will be available in the coming weeks.

Tower of Fantasy is a Free-to-play Massively Multiplayer Online game developed by Hotta Studio in China. It released in 2021 in China and in 2022 internationally. It combines elements of science fiction and open world, and has similar mechanics to other popular games such as Genshin Impact.

The game takes place on the remote planet Hades, which humanity colonised after the Earth’s resources were exhausted. After an unsuccessful experiment with the Omnium energy resource, the planet is exposed to radiation contamination, which has led to the emergence of mutants and other threats. Players take on the role of explorers who have to unravel the mysteries of this new planet and fight various enemies.

The game recently celebrated its two-year anniversary with several new content updates. These included the introduction of Dorm gameplay, which allows players to customise their personal space. A new simulator called Nola also added, which focuses on taking down gangs in Esperia. In addition, the team has taken into account fan complaints by reducing the number of mini-games in the game. The developers also confirmed that the collaboration with Evangelion will return in the near future.
