11 years after the release of Grand Theft Auto V, the long-awaited North Yankton location has added to GTA Online. This snowy area will be the epicentre of a new limited-time zombie survival mode that will be available next week.

Returning to North Yankton

For those who have not played the early chapters of GTA V for a long time, it is worth reminding that the cult simulator from Rockstar North does not begin in sunny Los Santos, but on the snowy streets of the rural town of Ludendorff in North Yankton. Although players return here again in the single-player campaign, this place has never officially appeared in GTA Online.

Next week, according to the official GTA Online event update, players will be able to return to North Yankton for the first time. Here they will take part in a new wave of zombie survival mode. This event will be part of the October Halloween update.

New survival mode: Zombie Attack

On 26 September, Rockstar officially announced a new mode that will be available for a limited time. Players will have to confront endless waves of zombies while protecting themselves and their allies.

This new zombie mode will be the highlight of the Halloween celebration in GTA Online.
