Call of Duty has launched a new Double XP event, now available in both Black Ops 6 and Warzone. Players have until mid-February 2025 to take advantage of the new Call of Duty promotion. Double XP has been a regular feature in all modern entries of Activision’s military shooter series. The last such promotion was launched at the start of Black Ops 6’s second season in late January 2025, but it was ultimately discontinued without prior notice, reported by GameRant.
Limited-time offer
On Thursday, February 6, another Double XP event kicked off, launching in both Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone. As usual, the current promotion doubles the rate at which experience and weapons are earned. It also applies the same bonus to the GobbleGum level in Black Ops 6’s Zombies mode. The event will run until Monday, February 10th. The new Double XP event coincides with the start of a free trial period for select Black Ops 6 multiplayer modes and maps.
The limited-time offer includes free access to Nuketown 24/7, Stakeout 24/7, Overdrive, Gunfight, Team Deathmatch, Hardpoint, Domination, Kill Confirmed, and Kill Order. Players can also try out The Tomb (Standard) and Liberty Falls (Standard + Director’s Cut) in Zombies during the promotional period. While Call of Duty free trials don’t always align perfectly with Double XP weekends, this time it did, as both offers are set to end on February 10th.

Terminator Event
February 6th saw another addition to Call of Duty in the form of a new Terminator-themed event for Black Ops 6 and Warzone. The ongoing promotion allows fans to earn Skulls during regular gameplay, which can then be exchanged for a variety of rewards. There are over a dozen of these digital bonuses to unlock, including the Scan Emblem, the Reactive Armor Bonus, the Scorestreak Battle Machine, and the Ocular System weapon enchantment.
A Double Weapon XP Token is also part of the reward you can earn, but since the Double XP event is already underway, this bonus can’t be used until it’s over. The Terminator event is set to end on February 20th. A week before that, a new Shadow Hunt promotion is scheduled to begin in Black Ops 6 and Warzone, allowing players to earn up to seven rewards, including the TR2 Marksman rifle and the Tanto 22 Binary Trigger Fire mod, by completing various tasks.
